Details
Devised by Anna Messariti and written by Donna Abela, this exciting team of
artists will work with innovative performance company, Para//elo during Come
Out 2005. The Cyprus project will explore aspects of war in a multi-media context
and create a chorus of children, drawing on the Ancient Greek tragedies the
Women of Troy and the Children of Herakles.
Using text, music, sound design and video - arising from a workshop process
that is sensitive to the needs and creative impulses of children - the objective
will be to draw into a larger project, the voice of children in relation to
the contemporary tragedy of war in the world.
At the completion of this process, join the artists for a showing of the outcomes.
