Alex is a five year old detective on a mission - she is convinced her Granny is off the planet (literally). Throw in a once in a lifetime occurrence of a comet, gazillions of chickens and an unconventional CB radio obsessed grandma and you have a charming, heart warming, and disarming tale that links the generations. Granny is an Alien reminds us that although grandparents and their grandchildren occupy different worlds, they share a unique and very special relationship.
Solo performer Michael Barlow segues seamlessly between Granny, Alex and the special guest star (Esmerelda - the chicken) to transfix the audience in this compact and delightfully surreal production.
