“The arts of science and theatre meet in the middle in this funny, informative and extremely funky work. It’s from a company which is one of Australia’s most prolific production houses and one of Queensland’s most successful schools touring ensembles. Accessible, educational and available in your own backyard!”
Come Out Festival Director Sally Chance
When a 21st century rock band can’t keep it together, Zac Newton begins a quest to find a helping hand. But who can help this group stay in time?
Newton is a young scientist – and he has a dream. He wants to have the best new wave, disco dancing, rave raging, hip hop, punk rock, beat boxing band in the world. But the band’s having trouble keeping the beat. They just can’t play in time and if they can’t keep the beat, how will they ever be the best band in the world? A scientific investigation begins. During his journey Zac discovers his famous three laws of motion, stumbles onto gravity and invents the cat flap. Eureka!
