Miss Lily’s Fabulous Pink Feather Boa tells of a shy potoroo who believes she’s the only one in Australia! This story of discovery and courage explores special friendships and the belief that you can achieve anything you put your mind to.

With the support of Penguin Australia, ETSA Utilities and ElectraNet, literature and imagery come to life to the delightful sounds of the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra’s string section.

Based on the book written by Margaret Wild and illustrated by Kerry Argent. Quentin Grant’s original score demonstrates the evocative storytelling possibilities of music. Performer Emily Branford as Miss Lily tangos her way into your heart as she wraps you up in her fabulously pink feather boa!

*Each of our young audience members will receive their very own pocket size copy of Miss Lily’s Fabulous Pink Feather Boa!

“Margaret Wild’s delightful story about the ‘last’ potoroo’s life-changing encounter with the flamboyant Miss Lily is rich in character and musicality. Now Quentin Grant, one of South Australia’s most entertaining and witty composers, has captured all the exuberance of this story in music that is engaging and infectious for audiences of any age.”
