Reckless Valour

Year level:
6-12
Age:
11-18

Quantum Leap from The Australian Choreographic centre (ACT), presented by Come Out 2007 and the Adelaide Festival Centre’s pivot(al) program

An award winning dance tribute to young Australians in war; the people who fight wars, who die fighting, who are commemorated in the Australian War Memorial, and who will shape the future. This work pays homage to the courage of ordinary people in extraordinary circumstances, and questions how they got there.

An invitation to contemplate nationhood, service and sacrifice.

Reckless Valour is inspired by the Australian War Memorial, with its collections, architecture and cultural significance, reflecting a century of conflicts.
