Year level:
Reception - Year 12
Age:
5-18

Crank! is the Come Out Festival’s biennial invitation to children and young people across South Australia to make a short film or animation, incorporating a mystery object announced on registration.

Short-listed and award winning films are screened at the Crankies, where young film heads are invited to join their peers to view the best of this year’s screen stories.

pixel.play is presented by the Australian Network for Art and Technology (SA).

Get involved in a digital art for your mobile workshop led by Sasha Grbich (Thu 10 May, 9.30am - 3.30pm, for young people in years 8 - 12, cost: $15/$10 Dis) learning the basics of stop frame plasticine animation.

Or swing through the foyer of the Mercury Cinema for a look at the mobile phone art made by young people as part of pixel.play. Phone (08) 8267 6920 for more details or to book for the workshop.
